Busy day. Mind-easing day. That is Signing Day.
No real big surprise from Montlake on Wednesday, although when the Huskies hauled in Narbonne High's Sean Parker, I think folks got a little greedy (not necessarily the UW coaches, but supporters and staff) about getting another high-profile athlete at the deadline.
I was particularly surprised Portland's Odighizuwa Owamagbe chose UCLA over Nebraska and Oregon State. So were staffers in Omaha, Neb., who sent a reporter to cover the senior's ESPN announcement.
Never miss a local story.
