Here's our game story.

Meanwhile, how'd it look to you?
Never miss a local story.
3:54/2nd: Dead even: 74 all.
4:59/2nd: Elston Turner just completed the Huskies long climb by, pushing UW ahead for the first time in the second half: 72-71.
Earlier, double-technicals on Pondexter and MU's David Cubillan as the high stakes are heating things up.
10:55/2nd: Washington is answering with a run of its own, cutting Marquette's lead back to 62-54.
13:20: Marquette's half-opening run is up to 17-3 and their lead is up to 60-45.
16:40/2nd: Marquette opens half with 9-2 and has opened its biggest lead, 52-44.
Halftime: Marquette, 43-42.
Everyone is shooting lights-out: UW 55.6 percent, MU, 53.6 percent. The Eagles are 7-of-11 (63.6 percent) on 3-pointers. However, Washington is doing even better: 6-of-9 (66.7). UW had 16-12 advantage on boards. UW has blocked five shots. Six turnovers for UW, five for MU. Not bad for such a fast-paced game.
Isaiah Thomas leads all scorers with 17 points. Johnson-Odom leads Marquette with 13. Quincy Pondexter has four points and has missed four of six free throws. Three fouls on Venoy Overton.
Remember the note from our coverage this morning, however:
Fully 15 of Marquette’s 33 games (45.5 percent) have been decided by four points or fewer – more than any other team in the country. Four games went into overtime. Only once this season, have the Eagles lost by double digits.
In league play, things have been even tighter. Fourteen of Marquette’s 21 Big East games were decided by five points or fewer. The Golden Eagles went 1-5 in the first six of those, but they won seven of their next eight thrillers.
Jon Brockman and Spencer Hawes in the house, btw. They came down to the front row at half to shout encouragement to the Huskies.
3:59/1st: Great game so far. Fast and furious. UW up, 37-33 now. Pondexter just has a little chippiness with Marquette guard Darius Johnson-Odom. DJO has 20 points for the Eagles.
7:38/1st: Marquette, 29-28. Very fast paced. Venoy Overton on the bench with two fouls. Thomas has 10 points, Holiday eight, Turner nailed a three.
11:47/1st: Marquette on 8-2 run and now up 18-17.
14:15/1st: This has started out with a little bit of role reversal: Eagles driving, Huskies launching threes. It's UW 15-12 now. Justin Holiday leading the Huskies with a pair of threes. Thomas has five points, a two and a trey.
Tipoff: Here we go...
Pregame: Washington and Marquette are on the court, warming up for their first-round NCAA touranment match at HP Pavilion in San Jose.
The previous game ran late, and now the building is being cleared between sessions, so the scheduled 4:20 tipoff could be delayed by a half hour or so. The game will be shown on CBS.
As usual, the Huskies are opening with Isaiah Thomas, Abdul Gaddy, Quincy Pondexter, Justin Holiday and Matthew Bruan-Amaning. The Golden Eagles are going with Lazar Hayward, Jimmy Butler, Darius Johnson-Odom, Maurice Acker and David Cubillan. Hayward and Butler -- the two 6-foot-6 guys -- are listed as forwards.
Marquette is wearing cool bright yellow uniforms, trimmed in a way that recalls the Al McGuire days. UW is in purple.
