Dawgman.com is reporting that 7-foot center Aziz Ndiaye has committed to play basketball at Washington.
Ndiaye is a 240=pound sophomore at College of Southern Idaho where he ranked No. 1 in the league in offensive rebounds, second in blocked shots and averaged 18 points per game.
He is a native of Dakar, Senegal, played for the South African junior national team and was named most valuable player of the Basketball Without Borders Camp in 2004-05 and ranked in the top five the following season.
Dawgman reports that Ndiaye confirmed his commitment to UW on Tuesday, and Cougfan.com reports a confirmation from Southern Idaho coach Steve Gosar.
