The university has released the Husky men's basketball schedule for 2010-11.
The much-anticipated new season begins with a Nov. 6 home exhibition against St. Martins. The regular-season tips off Nov. 13 with a visit from McNeese State of Louisiana. Other out-of-conference home games are against Eastern Washington, Long Beach State, Texas Tech, San Francisco, Portland and Nevada. Out of conference away games include a short trip to KeyArena to meet Seattle U., a visit to Texas A&M are part of the Big 12/Pac-10 Hardwood Series and the Nov. 22-24 dates in the Maui Invitational, with an amazing field including the Kentucky Wildcats with -- as of now -- Terrence Jones.
The Nevada game is part of a new three-game contract. The Huskies will visit Reno in 2011, and then the Wolf Pack returns to Seattle in 2012.
Pac-10 play begins Dec. 29 at USC and ends March 5 with a return visit from the Trojans. The Apple Cup games are Jan. 29 at Pullman and Feb. 26 at Hec Ed. The Feb. 5 trip to Eugene should mark the Huskies' first game at Oregon's new Matthew Knight Arena.
