Boise State's jump from the WAC to the Mountain West is now confirmed.
The Broncos had seemed ticketed to make the jump at the start of this week, but the invitation was delayed, apparently while the Mountain West waited to see how other conference/school dominoes might fall.
Soooo, does this indicate the Mountain West now believes the Big 12 will stay together enough to keep schools like Kansas, Kansas State, Baylor, etc., out of their reach? Or did the conference just decide it wanted Boise either way, much as the Pac-10 did yesterday with Colorado?
Obviously much more to come.
Here's a report from the league.
