No real movement on the depth chart, except the expected Kiel Rasp promotion to the first-string punter (and no backup listed … coach Steve Sarkisian is still stashing that option in his back pocket).
The only real change is at kickoff returner – Sean Parker is listed as the co-starter with Kevin Smith. Running back Chris Polk is nowhere to be found.
Smith had three kickoff returns for 57 yards. Parker had a 15-yarder – leading up to the UW's second drive.
Never miss a local story.
Other stuff quickly:
• According to UW sports information, 60 visiting media members will receive credentials for the game (that included the Nebraska radio network). It means the overflow press row downstairs will be utilized.
• On the Big 12 Conference media call, Cornhuskers coach Bo Pelini said the usual about facing UW quarterback Jake Locker.
"I think it's pretty obvious, he's a heck of a player. He can run, and he can throw – and beat you in a lot of different ways, hurt you in a lot of different ways," Pelini said. "Somebody who is as athletic (as Locker) and can throw is unusual these days."
• Today's practice is at the usual time (3:15 p.m.), but then have been switched Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to 1 p.m. – likely as a preparation for the 12:30 p.m. kickoff Saturday. The Huskies can move their practices around since fall quarter has not started.
