Erik Kohler will be down a few weeks with mononucleosis – anybody who has had that know how debilitating it is – and today, the University of Washington released its latest depth chart heading into the Oregon State game:
Gregory Christine started against Arizona State, was hit with a couple of offensive-holding infractions and, in general, played mediocre. He is still listed as a co-starter, along with Colin Porter, who did not play at all against the Sun Devils.
My guess: Porter will make a strong move this week. At worst, it should be a time-share position Saturday.
Also, Will Shamburger is still being listed as the No. 2 free safety, even though he did not see any action with the defense Saturday – and Justin Glenn did.
Never miss a local story.
Cameron Elisara is still the started at one defensive end spot, even though he saw just a few snaps trying to shake a shoulder stinger.
By the way … the Huskies will make at least their third consecutive late start Oct. 23 at Arizona. Kickoff is set for 7:15 p.m, and will be televised on ESPN.
