Today marked Washington’s first game at Matthew Knight Arena, which has replaced ancient Mac Court as the Ducks’ home.
However, the new facility drew muted reaction from a sampling of Huskies.
Lorenzo Romar: “At the end it got pretty loud. Mac was pretty loud.”
Isaiah Thomas: “It’s a nice gym. The crowd was good.”
Justin Holiday: “It’s a nice gym, but it didn’t really faze us in terms of shooting or stuff like that. Once you’re out there playing, we’re just playing.”
