There will be no live TV coverage of Washington's game tomorrow at Arizona State. (However, the game will be streamed on www.foxsportsarizona.com, so good luck with that.)
As you know, you have to look pretty hard to find anyone who is happy with the Pac-10's current broadcast package. And we asked coach Lorenzo Romar if he hears the complaints.
"I haven’t heard it a lot personally face-to-face from many people," he said. "I hear it more from those that you’re recruiting – you hear that all the time. … I think what the recruits look at is they want to see themselves in a situation where they’re going to be on television. … I think it’s more, if I’m going to go there I want people to see me play. So I think their perspective is different from the average fans’ perspective."
It is possible -- but not certain -- that this will be the last non-televised game of the season for UW. The next three: at Arizona, at Seattle U. and WSU -- all will be televised. And the regular-season-ending visits from UCLA and USC are tba in terms of both tip times and television. After that, all Pac-10 tournament and NCAA tournament games will be shown.
