John Timu, Greg Ducre and Jesse Callier were all wearing red no contact jerseys. But UW coach Demetrice Martin did say that Ducre has been cleared from his concussion and was wearing the red jersey as a precaution. Timu did not do any team related stuff and never really had his helmet on. Callier was a bit of a surprise in the red jersey, not sure if the hamstring was bothering him again.
As for positional stuff, the regular No. 1 offensive line was back to normal and taking 90 percent of the snaps. Defensively, Jamaal Kearse took Timu's place at linebacker, while Josh Shirley will start at the "Leo" end position. In the secondary, Quinton Richardson and Nate Fellner took limited reps with the No. 1 unit. Fellner did work in during the nickel package, but Justin Glenn took most of the reps in base defense. Ducre, Desmond Trufant and Anthony Gobern took most of the snaps with No. 1 defense and Richardson even worked with No. 2 defense some. Martin wouldn't say who is starting opposite Trufant between Richardson and Ducre, but that both would play on Saturday.
