In case you misses it, last week, Arizona senior quarterback Matt Scott set Pac-12 records for completions and attempts when he was 45 of 69 passes in the 54-48 OT loss at Stanford. The previous records were 43 completions (California’s Rich Campbell vs. Florida, 1980) and 68 attempts (Steve Smith, Stanford vs. Notre Dame, 1989). Scott threw for 491 yards, the third best single-game total in Arizona history and 12th all-time in the Pac-12.

Utah starting sophomore wide receiver Dres Anderson’s father, Flipper, was a wide receiver for UCLA from 1984-87. He led the Bruins in receiving yards in 1986 and 1987 and ranks 10th in school history with 2,023 yards.

The Beavers are tenth in this week’s AP poll, it’s highest ranking in more than a decade. The Beavers last cracked the top ten in the media poll on August 26, 2001, when they were also No. 10. Quarterback Cody Vaz makes his first start for the Beavers following Sean Mannion's injury.
BYU head coach Bronco Mendenhall is an alumnus of Oregon Sate, where he played safety and linebacker from 1986-87. He began his coaching career in Corvallis as a graduate assistant in 1989-90.

The Cardinal is in a stretch similar to Washington, but not as tough. Stanford faces its fourth consecutive opponent that is ranked, or has been ranked, in the Top 25 this season. Stanford has won three consecutive over Notre Dame, the longest string of victories for the Cardinal in the series.

USC could set the school record for consecutive games without being shut out; the last time the Trojans were blanked was at Washington in 1997 (the Huskies also snapped USC’s original record in 1983 in Seattle). The Trojans have not been shut out in 186 games, tying the school record for most consecutive games without being shut out first set from 1967 to 1983.

Cal junior wide receiver Keenan Allen has 185 career receptions, which is third all-time at Cal. Up next is Dameane Douglas (195 rec., 1995-98). He also has 2,300 career receiving yards, which ranks sixth all-time at Cal (Brian Treggs and Douglas are tied for fifth with 2,335 career receiving yards).
WSU senior DE Travis Long added another sack last weekend to his league-leading 7.5 sacks. He had four all of last season and his career total now stands at 18.5 sacks. WSU junior WR Marquess Wilson needs 53 yards to hit 3,000 career receiving yards, joining 15 others in Pac-12 history who have eclipsed 3,000 receiving yards.
