No surprises Wednesday during Washington basketball's signing day press conference. After some paperwork malformations, the Huskies received letters of intent from point guard Jahmel Taylor and wing Mike Anderson.
Washington, with C.J. Wilcox still on the team, has used 12 of the 13 scholarships, at this point. Huskies head coach Lorenzo Romar said Washington may add another player with the final scholarship. He said if they did add another player, it would be a big, not a guard.
Taylor and Williams give Washington four fresh recruits for next season. Point guard Nigel Williams-Goss and wing Darin Johnson had already signed.
We had an extensive press conference with Romar, who didn't indicate one way or another what direction Wilcox may head with his decision to stay at Washington or go to the NBA. We'll have more later, including video of the full press conference.
