It hasn't been a good week for former University of Washington president Mark Emmert, who has been leading the NCAA since 2010.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Emmert is forming a a council of athletic directors to help advise the NCAA. He hopes that's a step forward in communications with schools. He needs something to go his way.
Emmert's NCAA reign has constantly been in question, but took extra shots this week when a Sports Illustrated article detailed the disarray of the the albatross' enforcement department because of departures and disagreements. You can read that here.
