FROM STANFORD -- It's just about time to get on an airplane and make our way back to Seattle. But before we do, here are some links recapping Washington's loss to Stanford, as well as some other action around the Pac-12.
--- Our game story, abridged as it is, focuses on the problems Washington created for itself in the penalty and kick coverage departments -- though in the interest of full disclosure, it should be noted that I'd have led with the Kevin Smith play if this hadn't been a 7:30 game that ran right up against deadline. We also have some postgame quotes and video from Steve Sarkisian and Keith Price, along with a recap capsule and some more details on the final pass to Kevin Smith.
--- Here are the final stats.
--- Andy Staples of Sports Illustrated writes that the Huskies have only themselves to blame.

Elsewhere around the Pac-12 ...
Washington State 44, California 22 -- The Cougars improved to 4-2 by beating Cal for the first time since 2002. The Bears fumbled twice inside WSU's 5-yard line and really just aren't very good, partially due to injuries on defense.
Notre Dame 37, Arizona State 34 -- A late pair of interceptions hurt ASU, which will now fall out of the top 25.
