Another Monday is upon Montlake, which is where we're headed in a little while for Washington coach Steve Sarkisian's weekly press conference. First, there are links to read.
--- Washington's loss to Oregon only cost it four spots in the AP Top 25 poll, as the Huskies fell from 16th to 20th. They've lost twice in the two weeks since, and only fell a total of five spots. That's hard to do.
--- The Huskies are a 3-point underdog this week against Arizona State in one early betting line.
--- Bud Withers writes the state of Oregon was bad news for the state of Washington on Saturday.
--- Adam Jude writes that UW's gauntlet continues against ASU.
--- The Sun Devils want to avoid the second-half slides that have accompanied recent seasons in Tempe.
--- Sean Mannion's passing statistics have him closer and closer to the spotlight.
--- Oregon believes its practices are so strenuous that the games feel easy. They look that way, too.
--- Speaking of the Ducks, they host Washington State this week with the Cougars coming off a rather complete fourth-quarter collapse against OSU.
--- Arizona quarterback B.J. Denker is feeling confident after throwing the ball batter against USC.
--- UCLA views its showdown with Stanford this week as just another big game.
--- USC hopes one of its top cornerbacks will be ready to play against Notre Dame on Saturday.
--- California's broken pass defense has to try to stop Mannion and OSU this week.
--- Stanford's loss to Utah cost it eight spots in the AP poll.
--- Colorado has a new starting quarterback, and he's from Tacoma.
--- Utah's perseverance is paying off.
