FROM TEMPE -- It's almost time to leave the desert, something Washington did last night after a 53-24 loss to Arizona State. We take a look back at that result with this morning's links.
--- Lots of video and other analysis on the blog last night.
Never miss a local story.
--- This was a landmark performance for Arizona State's defense.
--- The Sun Devils are on top of the Pac-12 South.
Elsewhere around the Pac-12 ...
Stanford 24, UCLA 10 -- The Cardinal re-established themselves as the No. 2 team in the conference, using a strong defensive effort to dispatch the Bruins. UCLA isn't quite ready to hang with Stanford.
Notre Dame 14, USC 10 -- The Trojans had their chances, but penalties and missed field goals cost them in South Bend.
Oregon 62, Washington State 38 -- Oregon didn't play a whole lot of defense, but scored enough points to put this one away before the fourth quarter. Connor Halliday set an FBS record by throwing 89 -- 89! -- passes. He even completed 58 of them. Oregon defensive coordinator Nick Aliotti was not impressed.
Colorado 43, Charleston Southern 10 -- The Buffaloes did what they were supposed to do: win easily.
