(Above is a promotional video released by the school yesterday to promote season tickets for 2014.)
Come Friday, the Washington Huskies will be back on the practice field in preparation for the Dec. 27 Fight Hunger Bowl against BYU.
They'll practice Friday and Saturday mornings, then take Sunday off before practicing Monday through Thursday. The team will depart for San Francisco on Dec. 22. We'll have quotes, notes and video from each of those sessions, which will provide the first access we've had to UW players since the Apple Cup (with the exception of a group scrum with Keith Price and Hau'oli Kikaha the day Steve Sarkisian left for USC).

--- Jim Moore writes that it won't be easy to root against Petersen.
--- KUOW examines the idea that Seattle is too civilized to support a big-time winner in college football.
--- The Idaho Statesman also conducted a lengthy interview with Petersen, who confirmed that he did interview at USC last Sunday (the 1st, not the 8th).
--- This is from Monday night, but a good update on where Steve Sarkisian stands with his new staff at USC.
Scott Wolf of the Los Angeles Daily News also provided a couple guesses on Twitter last night as to what that staff might ultimately look like.
