Both teams will make a visit to Alcatraz today, too, as part of the scheduled bowl-week activities. They will also practice, though media are not allowed to attend.

--- Florida announced yesterday that linebackers and special teams coach Jeff Choate has left the program. There has been speculation that Choate will join Chris Petersen's staff at Washington. Football Scoop reported the other day that Choate-to-Washington seems likely. Choate coached linebackers at Washington State in 2012, and prior to that was Petersen's special-teams coordinator at Boise State.
