If Tosh Lupoi's most recent tweet is any indication, it appears the former Washington defensive line coach has landed on the staff of Alabama.
Here's what Lupoi tweeted earlier today:
Lupoi also changed his Twitter background to an Alabama football logo, and updated his hometown to "T Town, AL." There hasn't been an official statement from Alabama, but it sure looks like Lupoi has secured employment there. It makes sense -- reports this week linked Lupoi to the Crimson Tide.
Lupoi, who coached the last two seasons at UW, signed a mutual separation agreement with the school in January that paid him $300,000 after new coach Chris Petersen chose not to retain him. Lupoi was investigated by UW and the NCAA after a Los Angeles Times story alleged that he paid for a recruit's tutoring and online classes, but the NCAA declined to take action against Lupoi or UW after reviewing the matter.
