After serving a one-game suspension against Illinois, junior cornerback Marcus Peters returned to practice on Monday and is apparently expected to play Saturday against Georgia State.
Peters, the Huskies' best defensive back, was suspended after being benched during UW's Sept. 6 game against Eastern Washington when he committed an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and threw a tantrum on the sideline.
“We got him back," Petersen said. "He’s back with us. We’ll just take it one day at a time.”
Petersen wouldn't elaborate much more than that, saying "I think most of that stuff is kind of between us and the team. But I think it's just about doing things like a good teammate should."
Never miss a local story.
And has he done everything he's been asked?
"For the first six hours, yes," Petersen said.
