The Pac-12 announced the dates for its entire 2015 football schedule tonight, and Washington's season begins either Thursday, Sept. 3 or Friday, Sept. 4 at Boise State, coach Chris Petersen's first trip back to his old school.
(You'll note that the full Pac-12 schedule, which is at the bottom of this post, lists UW's opener as being on Sept. 5. It won't be on that day. It will be on the 3rd or 4th. It just isn't the Pac-12's job to finalize that date, so it defaults to a Saturday listing for now.)
The Apple Cup game against Washington State will be played yet again on the day after Thanksgiving.
The Huskies don't play UCLA or Colorado in 2015, meaning they will miss those teams in 2016, too.
Never miss a local story.
Washington visits USC and former coach Steve Sarkisian on Thursday, Oct. 8. That game begins what could be a pretty difficult three-game stretch in which the Huskies visit USC, play Oregon at home, then visit Stanford.
Here is the full schedule, from UW's official site. Kickoff times and TV information will be announced at a later date.
