Redshirt freshman Troy Williams will make his first career start at quarterback tomorrow, reports Adam Jude of The Seattle Times.
UW coach Chris Petersen said on Monday that third-year sophomore Cyler Miles would start if he was cleared medically after suffering from concussion-like symptoms following UW's 45-20 loss at Oregon. It appears that will not be the case. Sounds like Williams took practice reps with the No. 1 offense throughout the week, and now he'll get his chance to play meaningful snaps in a Pac-12 football game.
Williams completed 5-of-10 passes and rushed five times for 28 yards and a touchdown during two series in the fourth quarter at Oregon. He started the year as the Huskies' third-string quarterback.
