This time next year, the Huskies men's basketball team will be playing in the Bahamas.
Washington was announced today as part of the eight-team field for next year's Battle 4 Atlantis tournament, which is held Thanksgiving weekend at the Imperial Arena in Paradise Island, Bahamas. It also has a reputation as being pretty high-paying, especially for the winners.
The Huskies are joined by an impressive field that includes Gonzaga, Michigan, Texas, Texas A&M, Syracuse, Connecticut and Charlotte. UW is also scheduled to open the season against Texas in China.
