Three Huskies were named first-team All-Pac-12 on Tuesday night -- senior nose tackle Danny Shelton, senior outside linebacker Hau'oli Kikaha, and junior linebacker Shaq Thompson.
Thompson is a double-honoree, earning a first-team nod on defense and on special teams as an all-purpose player.
UW's honorable mention selections are freshman safety Budda Baker, senior offensive tackle Micah Hatchie, senior defensive end Andrew Hudson, sophomore return specialist John Ross III, senior center Colin Tanigawa, senior linebacker John Timu and sophomore kicker Cameron Van Winkle.
Shelton totaled 89 tackles (second on the team), 9.0 sacks (third on the team, eighth in the Pac-12) and 16.5 tackles for loss (second on the team, fifth in the Pac-12) this season.
Never miss a local story.
Kikaha leads the nation in total sacks with 18, and is second nationally in tackles for loss with 24.0.
Thompson finished with 71 tackles, two sacks and four defensive touchdowns as a linebacker, though he played strictly running back in three of UW's games, too. He rushed for 456 yards and averaged 7.5 yards per carry.

With the exception of the Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award, All-Conference honors are voted on by the Pac-12 Head Coaches.
The All-Conference defensive team usually consists of 11 players (4 DL, 3 LB, 4 DB). However, there was a tie at defensive back for both the first team and second team. Hence, five defensive backs are listed on both squads. There was also a tie for second team AP/ST.
Oregon’s Marcus Mariota is the first quarterback in league history to earn first team honors three times.
Washington’s Shaq Thompson is a double honoree, earning first team honors on defense (LB) and special teams (AP/ST)
First team honors by class: 11 seniors, 11 juniors, 4 sophomores.
Second team honors by class: 11 seniors, 10 juniors, 4 sophomores, 3 freshmen
