Tevis Bartlett, a prospect who played both quarterback and safety at Cheyenne East (Wyoming) HIgh School, announced at his school on Thursday morning that he plans to play football for the Washington Huskies.
Here is Bartlett's bio from Scout.com, which rates him as a 3-star prospect. He appears to project as an outside linebacker in college -- Scout.com rates him as the No. 51 outside linebacker in the 2015 recruiting class.
The Casper Star-Tribune has this story from Bartlett's commitment, with some comments from Bartlett about why he chose Washington. That story notes that Bartlett took official visits to UW, Iowa, Oregon, Utah and Colorado, and refers to him as a "future outside linebacker."
Bartlett's Hudl profile lists him at 6-foot-3 and 212 pounds.
His commitment gives the Huskies 21 known pledges in the class of 2015, and five in the last five days.
