Some quick links on the Monday morning after a quiet Sunday. Quiet here, anyway. There was noise elsewhere in the Pac-12.
--- Wayne Tinkle has Oregon State moving quickly in the right direction, and Sunday's 58-56 victory over No. 7 Arizona is the latest and most convincing evidence. The Beavers are now 11-4 and 2-1 in Pac-12 play, and they visit Washington at Hec Edmundson Pavilion on Thursday night.
--- UCLA completed a home sweep of the Bay Area schools with a 73-54 victory over California. The Bears, who regained Jabari Bird but lost him again to cramps, have lost five of their last six games. Their only win in that span was against Washington.
Never miss a local story.
--- The college football season ends today with Oregon against Ohio State in the College Football Playoff National Championship (5:30 p.m., ESPN). The Ducks' season has been a marathon.
