--- In a highly-anticipated game last night, 3A Metro power Garfield beat other 3A Metro power Rainier Beach (and UW signee Dejounte Murray), 84-67. Beach played without junior wing Keith Smith, a UW recruiting target, who is reportedly awaiting results of an MRI performed on his injured knee. Alphonso Anderson scored 35 points for Garfield. Murray scored 16 for Rainier Beach.
--- Colorado forward Xavier Johnson won't play against Washington on Thursday. He's been injured, but is also suspended for one game for an off-court incident. Forward Josh Scott is still day to day.
