The Huskies men's basketball team hosts No. 7 Arizona in a rare Friday night game at Hec Edmundson Pavilion. It's a 6 p.m. tipoff on ESPN -- the standard, original four-letter. It's UW's only appearance on the main ESPN channel this season. Here are links:
--- Washington has had some big home victories over Arizona during Lorenzo Romar's career, and they could really use an improbable one tonight.
Never miss a local story.
--- Former UW cornerback Marcus Peters opens up about his departure in this USA Today Story, which quotes Peters as saying he doesn't blame coach Chris Petersen for dismissing him from the team. According to the story, Peters will be allowed to participate in UW's Pro Day on April 2. He also denied, and "laughed at," the NFL.com report that quoted an anonymous scout who said Peters choked a UW assistant coach.
Pac-12 games last night ...
Utah 75, Stanford 59 -- Delon Wright led the Utes to a pretty easy victory. It was the Cardinal's worst defeat of the season.
One other Pac-12 game tonight: Washington State hosts Arizona State. It's an 8 p.m. tipoff on Pac-12 Networks.
