Dominic Green, Hazen High School's all-time leading scorer, used his Twitter page on Sunday afternoon to announce a commitment to play basketball for the Washington Huskies.
Green, listed at 6-foot-6 and 175 pounds by Scout.com, signed a national letter of intent in November to play for Arizona State, but was granted his release after ASU fired coach Herb Sendek.
A high-school senior, Green becomes the seventh member of UW's 2015 recruiting class, and the fourth from the state of Washington (Dejounte Murray, David Crisp and Matisse Thybulle are the other three). The Huskies also recently added Auburn transfer Matthew Atewe, a 6-foot-9 forward who will sit out the 2015-16 season.
Scout.com ranks Green the No. 77 prospect in the 2015 class, and the No. 3 small forward recruit on the west coast.
Here are some highlights from Green's junior year at Hazen.
