It was a big day for UW football on Thursday, with three UW players chosen in the first round of the NFL draft for the first time in school history. It's possible the Huskies could have a fourth player, Hau'oli Kikaha, drafted in today's second or third rounds. If not, Kikaha will certainly be picked on day three, which would give the Huskies four players chosen in a single draft for the first time since 2004 (Reggie Williams, Terry Johnson, Marquis Cooper, Cody Pickett).
Let's get to some links.
--- Here's our story in today's newspaper, wrapping up the Huskies' three first-round selections -- Danny Shelton to the Browns with the 12th pick, Marcus Peters to the Chiefs with the 18th pick, and Shaq Thompson to the Panthers with the 25th pick. No other school had three players drafted on Thursday.
