Marlon Tuipoluto, a 4-star defensive tackle from Central High School in Independence, Oregon, announced on Saturday night a commitment to play football for the Washington Huskies.
He is the second 4-star prospect to commit to UW in the last week, joining St. John Bosco receiver Terrell Bynum, and is the fourth known player to commit to UW in the 2017 class.
Listed at 6-foot-2 and 275 pounds, Tuipulotu told Scout.com he chose the Huskies over offers from Oregon, Michigan, Notre Dame, Nebraska, UCLA and USC. Scout.com ranks him the No. 14 defensive tackle in the 2017 class, and the No. 218 overall prospect.
