Paul Noonan scored a game-high 23 points to lead the Boise State Broncos to a 75-60 win over the North Dakota Fighting Sioux in a non-league affair as part of the Grizzly Basketball Classic at Dahlberg Arena.
The Broncos (2-1) also received 11 points from Daequon Montreal in the win.
North Dakota (0-3) was paced by Travis Mertens, who tallied 14 points and nine rebounds, but he was also guilty of seven turnovers in a losing effort. Spencer Goodman also netted 10 points for the Fighting Sioux.
Neither team could gain an advantage in the first half, as the two traded baskets before entering the break tied at 32-32.
BSU pulled away in the second stanza, knocking down 5-of-12 three-pointers en route to the 15-point victory.
Three-point shooting proved to be the difference in this contest as the Broncos outscored the Fighting Sioux 24-15 beyond the arc.
