Kenneth Bwanika scored what would have been a game-winner for the Wilson High School boys soccer team if hosting North Thurston didn't strike back.
The game ended in a 2-2 tie after North Thurston scored in the 74th minute to tie the game late.
"They made it hard for us," Wilson coach Jason Gjertsen said. "Scoring early in the game gave us false confidence."
Munassar Saleh gave Wilson that early lead in the third minute. Although Wilson outshot North Thurston 7-3, the possession time was more even, Gjertsen said.
Bwanika then put Wilson (5-2-4; 4-2-3 3A Narrows) ahead 2-1 in the 55th minute.
Karan Kang scored a goal for Auburn Moutnainview (6-5-0; 6-4-0).
Max Nail scored for South Kitsap (3-3-2; 2-2-2) in the 62nd minute.
