Lincoln High School girls tennis player Lilly Le and Mt. Rainier Lutheran baseball player Justin Stewart were both among the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association players of the week.
Le, a senior, won two matches against Bellarmine Prep and Mount Tahoma last week, losing just one game. She won her singles match against Bellarmine, 6-0, 6-1, and followed with a 6-0, 6-0 win the next day against Mount Tahoma.
Stewart went 6 for 6 over two games for Mt. Rainier Lutheran last week with two doubles, three steals and four RBIs. And he was the winning pitcher in the Hawks’ 20-6 five-inning victory against Seattle Lutheran.
