Alyssa McKiernan hit two home runs and a double and the Bellarmine Prep softball team rallied with four runs in the top of the seventh inning to win Tuesday at Yelm.
McKiernan finished 4 for 4 at the plate with three runs scored.
She homered her first at-bat in the first inning and added another in the fifth, but Bellarmine went into the seventh trailing 7-5.
Becca Sorenson helped change that. She homered as part of that four-run seventh to give the Lions the edge.
Chelsea Smith earned the win for Bellarmine Prep (4-9; 3-5 4A Narrows), which trails Yelm (9-5; 4-4), Timberline (9-5; 4-4) and Gig Harbor (10-4; 4-4) for the third seed in the 4A Narrows League. Olympia (14-0; 9-0) is atop the league with South Kitsap (5-4; 5-3) in second.
The two teams are now tied for the fourth seed out of the 4A SPSL North.
Puyallup (11-5; 8-2 4A SPSL South) moved a half game ahead of Bethel (10-5; 7-2) for the top seed in the 4A SPSL South.
Spanaway Lake (3-13; 0-8 4A SPSL South) led 2-0 until Curtis’ five-run fifth and the Vikings (5-11; 3-5) followed with four runs in the sixth.
