Brandon Morrow flew into Texas on a commercial flight today, not with his teammates, who had a game to play first.
Because the team doesn't figure to leave the ground before midnight - probably later - and won't arrive in Dallas until 5 a.m., and won't get to their hotel before 6 a.m. Probably later.
That's baseball, but given the choice of having Morrow join them in Anaheim to watch a game and then fly through the night, the Mariners decided to just send him on to Texas from Seattle.
At least Morrow will be well-rested when the Mariners-Rangers series begins with his start Friday.
