Outfielder Milton Bradley was ejected for the second time in three games tonight, tossed by an AAA plate umpire following a third strike call.
Leading off the fourth inning, Bradley had worked the count full at 3-2, took a pitch and started trotting to first base. Umpire Jon Merry called a third strike, Bradley said something and was tossed.
Manager Don Wakamatsu came out to talk to the umpire, who saw no reason to change his call.
"It's almost like a witch hunt," Wakamatsu said of the two ejections. "Milton may have said something, but if he did he was almost back in the dugout. I was in the dugout, and I didn't hear it.":
