Yes, I kissed the sod this morning when I flew from beautiful Toronto to Detroit, then on to Tampa, where there's an internet that's kinder to me than anything in Canada was yesterday.
Issues, you say?
I couldn't get online, couldn't blog, couldn't do squat after an early a.m. shot or two. Had to send my story and notes through a kiindly Toronto writer who let me use his computer and his 'net connection through his office.
Perhaps the internet as I know it ends at the border now.
Never miss a local story.
Anway, the lads are at Tropicana Stadium taking early batting practice, in good spirits. After a horn section of youngsters practiced the anthem, Mariners in the outfield screamed compliments, and the kids beamed. Hey, why not spread a little joy.
Now that I'm back on home soil, where the internet grows strong, the blog will continue. Feel free to stop by.
