Bret Michaels is in the building for Hair Band Night, a post-game concert the Seattle Mariners are certainly going to stay late for, with the possible exception of non-hair fan Jack Zdurienck.
For those who live in caves - or old poops like MLB.com's Jim Street - this is what Wikipedia says about Mr. Michaels: Bret Michaels (born Bret Michael Sychak, March 15, 1963) is an American singer, actor, director, screenwriter, producer and reality television personality
Wow. Makes you feel small, doesn't it?
By way of like, baseball news, there's this from No-Hair Band afficianado Zduriencik: Pitcher Michael Pineda will be in Seattle this weekend and may even be on the field before the Mariners final games with Oakland. No, he won't pitch. In fact, he won't even be on the roster or in uniform once the games begin.
Pineda will be in Seattle merely to see it, hang with Mariners teammates and get a little feel for what may await him next April, when it's possible he will be on the roster and the mound for the Mariners.
Meanwhile, if Bret Michaels could hit the curve ball, he could give up all those other jobs and simply be Seattle's designated hitter. If Jack could get past his hair bias.
As for that post-game concert, Michaels has one huge fan in the Mariners traveling party - FSN's Brad Adam, who listened to songs by Poison while in his crib. Who knew?
