We noted earlier in the week that Seattle was going to be trying out some tight ends. Injuries have hit the position hard. The Seahawks' list of tryouts included Calen Powell, Stephen Spach, Marcellus Rivers and Boo Williams. The team also brought in QB Bradlee Van Pelt, as expected, and C Thatcher Szalay, who signed a practice-squad contract yesterday. Powell has been with the Seahawks in the past. Rivers spent last season with the Giants. Note: Our latest roster reflects these tryouts. Find it here. By the way, Van Pelt also worked out with Kansas City.
