Steve Hutchinson has finished speaking with reporters in Minneapolis. He did not say much. "This team is going to Seattle, trying to be 4-2 after this week. Obviously I know those guys and those coaches on that team. I played there for five years. That's about the extent of (how much) I'm going to talk about myself. ... There are 16 games we play and this is another one. (We're) coming off our bye week and they had a big win yesterday. We're going to have our hands full and it's going to be a tough environment."
Asked about if he stays in touch with Seattle people, he said, "Absolutely. ... Linemen. Offensive linemen mostly, a couple of defensive linemen. Grant Wistrom." On the Hawks and being impressed: "Yeah, they're 4-1 now. It's hard playing in St. Louis. They came back from a pretty big deficit at halftime, came back and won. That shows the resilience of that team as well." Did he watch the game yesterday? "No, I didn't."
Asked about why he wasn't saying more: "There are 52 other guys on this team and it's not about Steve Hutchinson against the Seahawks. It's an NFC team, it's a conference team, they are ahead of us record-wise, so we've got to try (to win). (At the) end of the year you want to have one of the best records so you can get in the playoffs. So that's where we stand on that."
