By my count, Chiefs coach Herm Edwards leads the league in replay-challenge reversals this season. Three challenges, three reversals, nothing to complain about. Arizona's Dennis Green has the most failed challenges (four), but rest assured, the referees were exactly what he thought they would be. Seattle's Mike Holmgren is 0-1 in challenges but he made his miss count, challening Maurice Morris' fumble at St. Louis even though none of the televised replay angles showed anything but a fumble (or was it just me?). Sometimes NFL coaches are like frustrated basketball players. After something bad happens, usually a turnover, they run back downcourt and commit impulsive fouls. This is my wife's analogy, actually. It's one of the things she finds amusing about basketball. League-wide chart below.
These are unofficial numbers, but my overall totals match what the league has (79 reviews, 32 reversals). My previous chart showed one additional challenge loss for Brian Billick. Nothing personal. Just a typo. Looks like I didn't change Baltimore's challenge total from two to one, but at this point I'm not going to re-do the thing.
