The official NFL gamebook incorrectly attributed the final Seahawks-Chiefs replay challenge to the booth official Sunday. Coach Mike Holmgren made the challenge with 1:58 remaining in the game. He was allowed to do this because the play started with more than two minutes remaining. The reversal gave Seattle possession after WR Deion Branch stole the ball from Chiefs DE Jared Allen. Officials initially ruled that Branch did not have possession before going out of bounds. Referee Peter Morelli reviewed the play and determined that Branch was, in fact, in bounds. The reversal gave Seattle one last chance. Holmgren also improved to 1-1 in replay challenges this season. League-wide chart below.
