I thought about taking the Cardinals to beat the Cowboys in Week 10. Came close to making the pick. But I'd already risked out-thinking myself on the Baltimore-Tennessee game, so the Cowboys became the safe pick. Those and the other Week 10 picks are at right. My wife is declining comment this week -- call it a labor strike -- but her picks are there too. We disagreed on four games, which is about the max in a given week. I liked her Green Bay pick, but went with Minnesota somewhat reluctantly.
The Titans are my upset pick because Jeff Fisher is good for an upset every so often. Also, after reading this blog entry on Pro Football Reference, I realized that 2-6 teams have fared well at home against 6-2 teams over the last 15 years or so. As if that matters.
Last week's picks are here. We both went 8-6. That's not a good record most weeks, but a lot of people were sub-.500 in Week 9. We did both get the 49ers' victory over the Vikings, but we missed on the Lions' upset in Detroit.
