The Seahawks brought in fullbacks Thump Belton, Lousaka Polite, J.T. Wall and Alan Ricard for tryouts today. Seattle might need to make a move at fullback once Shaun Alexander comes back. With Josh Parry injured, Mack Strong is the only healthy fullback on the 53-man roster. Rookie David Kirtman would provide one option. The players on the tryout list have more experience. The Seahawks also got reacquainted with former safety John Howell, who suffered a season-ending hamstring injury in 2005. Another DB, Idrees Bashir, was also in for a tryout. Bashir was a second-round pick (Indy) in 2001. I had inadvertenly listed him among the fullbacks when this item was first published.
