Thursday mornings are generally when I crank out our rankings, picks and five things to watch for the weekend games. Then I get a jump on some of the stories than run in the Sunday paper. Darrin Beene generally covers for us at Seahawks headquarters on those days. He was out there yesterday and got Seneca Wallace's thoughts on signing an extension back in August. Darrin also wrote about how Trent Dilfer and Gibran Hamdan are sharing secrets about their former teams heading into the 49ers-Seahawks game Sunday. Hamdan said he feels like James Bond. "It's 100 percent espionage," he said. "I feel like I'm a gun for hire. I'm 005 this week, but that's the way it is." I had a chance to speak with Dilfer last night for a Q-and-A that will run Sunday. He's one of my favorite interviews because he has so many thoughts about what's going on in the league.
