The Seahawks waived running back Marquis Weeks, who had been signed to the active roster when Shaun Alexander was injured. The team signed DT Eric Taylor to its practice squad, releasing WR Sloan Thomas to make room. The Hawks also brought in six players for tryouts, including former Cowboys QB Drew Henson. Others on the tryout list: receivers Chris Jones, Josh Davis and Greg Lee, plus defensive backs Dimitri Patterson and Jerron Wishom. There's now an opening on the 53-man roster. We'll have to see how they fill it. We'll also have to see how long they keep QB Gibran Hamdan on the active roster. I can't see them keeping four healthy quarterbacks, even with one on the practice squad. But they don't ask me.
