Eleven non-specialists have participated in every Seahawks full-squad practice since training camp opened. Seneca Wallace missed for the first time today. This one was out of his control; he needed to miss practice to help his mother, who is ill and returning to California. The list of non-specialists who have not missed a practice includes: QB David Greene, CB Marcus Trufant, FB Mack Strong, S Oliver Celestin, LB Julian Peterson, LB Kevin Bentley, G Rob Sims, TE Will Heller, DT Chuck Darby, DT Craig Terrill and DE Bryce Fisher. The guys in bold deserve extra consideration because they are regular players at high-impact positions.
Five players have missed only one practice, by my count: Wallace, FS Ken Hamlin, LB Niko Koutouvides, DE Darryl Tapp and RT Ray Willis. Three guys have missed two practices: RG Chris Gray, WR Nate Burleson and RB Maurice Morris.
Note: These are unofficial counts based on my own record keeping.
Guys with the most missed practices since camp opened: TE Jerramy Stevens (42), WR Darrell Jackson (37), DE Joe Tafoya (34), DT Rocky Bernard (29), DE Grant Wistrom (25), OL Floyd Womack (24), WR D.J. Hackett (22), SS Michael Boulware (22) and SS Jordan Babineaux (20).
Most missed practices since the season started: RB Shaun Alexander (19), LB D.D. Lewis (16), RT Sean Locklear (16), TE Jerramy Stevens (15), OL Floyd Womack (14) and WR Bobby Engram (10).
