WR Darrell Jackson (offense), DT Russell Davis (defense) and K Josh Brown (special teams) received game balls for their efforts against the Broncos last week. Coach Mike Holmgren also handed out a Thanksgiving-style turkey to Davis, which drew a lot of laughs. Davis was the only veteran who went for the free-Thanksgiving-turkey ploy designed to fool rookies into picking up imaginary free turkeys at the local market. The Seahawks do this prank every year. Davis is new this year, so he did not know. In his defense, Davis noted that the setup included an official-looking letter letting him know that the turkey was there for him to pick up and, if he so desired, could be donated to charity. He had a sense of humor about it. Davis explains here.
