The Seahawks can't afford to look past any game, any opponent or even any single play. The rest of us are free to look as far ahead as we wish. In looking at the Seahawks' opponents for 2007, we notice that the team's home schedule features a few teams that have been very successful on the road this season. We also notice that the Seahawks' road schedule features teams that have been very beatable at home this season. The chart at right takes the traditional strength-of-schedule stuff to a more logical end. It measures the Seahawks' home opponents by how well those teams have done on the raod. It measures the Seahawks' road opponents by how well those teams have done at home. That seemed more relevant than simply looking at how well those teams have done overall. Again, it's tough to project strength of schedule in the NFL by just about any measure. This does it pretty well.
